The abandoned submarines and bases will give you goosebumps like nothing else

Reva Raynor September 27, 2023

Horse Arena fort

The Royal Commission used this strong British submarine base in the past. Horse Sand Fort, also known as the Solent Strait Sea Fort in Portsmouth, England is located along this waterway. It was originally intended to be a part of the Palmerston Forts. However, the British used it during World War II because it was equipped with sophisticated underwater defences and weapons.

The doors, walls, and layers of reinforced granite and concrete were beautiful. AmaZing Venues bought it with the intent of turning it into an art museum.
