90. It’s Not Their Fault
Jack was aware that he would need to build a larger enclosure as the number of birds in his enclosure was expected to increase to 15 or 16. The best way to guarantee the survival of the young peacocks is by having their mothers around.

Jack and Bonnie watched the mother birds until dawn. It was clear that the birds were responsible for the destruction of the farm.
In a way, it was not their fault.
91. Reunited
They were lost souls looking for a home to raise their children. Jack and the refuge down the street could provide them with that opportunity, but it was a pity their former owner was still hidden.
The momma birds had disappeared the next morning. Jack called the sanctuary to explain the situation. The next night, they came to set up humane rat traps.

After two days, all the people were reunited.
