Anders Carlson captured this lovely family photo “Mother and Calf” on February 26, 2019. The photo was taken with a Phantom 4 Pro, one of DJI’s most expensive and high-quality drones. Carlson’s photograph featured two humpbacks swimming through the ocean during a “windy Kona, Hawaii” day.
You can find humpback whales in all oceans on earth. Their body shape is easy to identify, with a knobby head and long pectoral rays. The gestation period for these whales is 11 months. Their babies, like the one shown in the photo, stay with their mothers during the first year of their life.

James Rushforth created “Crater row,” which was entered into the Siena Drone Photo Awards 2020. “Crater Row,” was also entered into the British Photography Awards. “Crater row” shows Rushforth’s favorite row of craters in “Iceland’s vast interior.”
Rushforth stated on Facebook that this unique red color is due to the oxidation and iron mineral coloring of scoria. This oxidation has not affected the surrounding basalt, which is why it stands out so sharply. Rushforth called the scene “otherworldly”, especially since it was in a remote location. The DJI Mavic Air 2 drone that he used is one of DJI’s best products.
