Running For His Life
Dave ran as quickly as he could. He didn’t know where he was. The sounds grew louder, and he was getting closer. Dave realized that whatever or whoever was in this part of the sewer system, was after him. He had to find an exit. His breathing became labored as his heart began to race. He ran in the darkness, feeling a panic. He didn’t know which direction to go. He was so terrified that he couldn’t think. He felt that he was losing time.
He needed to get out of the sewer before it was too much. He wanted to escape the sewers and get back to safety. As he ran, he could feel fear coursing through him. He was afraid of what would happen if he did not make it in time. Dave’s brain raced while he tried remembering the layout of sewer system. He needed to escape before his pursuers caught up with him. He was so terrified that he couldn’t think clearly. He felt like his options were running out. He was determined to continue, no matter what.
