How to call a friend

Jamie, realizing that he would not be able sleep for several hours because of his jetlag, decided to call Ben. He considered inviting Ben over for a few drinks and catching up with old times. He called Ben and waited until he picked up. Jamie could hear a woman in the background and a young girl. He was right to suspect that it was Ben’s wife and child. Jamie asked Ben to come over, and Ben agreed.

Jamie was eager to catch up with his friend and learn about all that had changed since their last meeting. Ben’s parents and how Ben’s life has changed since their last meeting also intrigued him. He cleaned up his apartment quickly and waited until Ben arrived. Jamie greeted him warmly with a hug and a cold drink.

Jamie had a plan

Jamie’s heart was racing as he drove towards Ben’s home. He felt a mixture of emotions, including excitement, fear and anticipation. He didn’t know what he would find when he got there. Was his daughter and wife there? Ben would be the new dad Lauren told him about. He was full of questions and determined to find answers.

Jamie’s thoughts raced as he drove. Jamie had suspected Stacy’s behavior and was certain that she was lying. He needed to know the truth. He needed to find out if Ben really was the “new dad” Lauren mentioned. He needed to know that his family was in good hands. He needed to know that his family was in good hands. He needed to know if Ben really was the “new dad” Lauren mentioned.
