George Knows
George said to Karen that he believes he knows what it could be. He didn’t bring it up until he heard the results, which made Karen even more concerned.
He said that it would be unfair to her. Karen was awake all night thinking about it. She prayed for a good outcome, but she didn’t think it was likely.
Driving Back
The trip back to hospital was very different from the one home the previous day. George was calm, while Karen was stressed. He was also trying to calm Karen down.
He told Karen that everything would be okay if the test results were as he expected. Karen was worried.
