This photo was taken in 2014. It is an excellent example of forced perspective. Forced perspective is a technique that photographers have used for years to create optical illusions. The illusion makes objects appear larger or smaller, or brings them closer or further away from the camera.
A plastic water bottle can be made to look like a waterfall pouring into a basin. You can use a wide-angle camera, keep the image simple, use a small aperture and plan your composition in advance to take a photo like this. Have fun!
